"Built to last till time itself
Falls tumbling from the wall
Built to last till sunshine fails
And darkness moves on all
Built to last while years roll past
Like cloudscapes in the sky
Show me something built to last
Or something built to try"

The Lockn lineup is absolutely ridiculous...I'm trying hard to make this happen! Good discussion over on the (resurrectd) Deadhook.

Edit: Anyone else going to be at Ratdog on the Cape next Saturday?

see Umphrey's McGee (they are as if Zappa took drugs).

I went to Lock'n last year and had a fantastic time. It was hotter than a three-balled tom cat, and the music was equally hot. I'm in again this year. I'll be volunteering with Klean Kanteen again and have scored two Staff passes which includes early entry and set-up the day before. Life will be good.

My summer festival season is shaping up nicely. Just got back from Roosterwalk 6 out in Martinsville, VA last weekend. The Infamous Stringdusters, L Shape Lot, Yarn, Buttertub, Tim O'Brien and Darrell Scott, The Pimps of Joy Time, Particle and Sunliner made for a really good kick off.

Next up is FloydFest, followed by Lock'n, the Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival and closing out with the Festy in October.

Good thing I like sleeping in a tent....
